Why parlays are the book's best friend
Each leg carries the margin (a 50/50 market is priced ~1.87, not 2.00). Combining n legs multiplies those margins: two fair 2.00 legs would be 4.0 combined; two 1.85 legs give 3.42 - the same picks at roughly 8.6% total margin instead of 4.4% per leg. The calculator shows exactly what the combined price costs you versus fair odds.
Same-game parlays
Correlated legs (e.g. team wins map 1 and wins the match) are not independent events - a straight multiplication of the listed prices does not describe your real probability, and books price such combos with an extra cushion. This tool computes the independent-legs math; treat any correlated acca quote with extra suspicion.
